Faraday A Community Rediscovered, was launched on Sunday afternoon at the Catalina Flying Boat Museum.

 

Robyn’s sister, Jill Reece who was also one of the children kidnapped, was sitting close by to Robyn for the launch.

 

The book launch had an enormous attendance with over 100 people attentively listening to Robyn’s story of her life in Faraday before the kidnapping, the impact the kidnapping had on her family and community, and life afterwards.

 

Congratulations to Robyn for sharing her life’s journey with us, and for such an incredible book launch.

 

A beautiful complimentary afternoon tea was provided following Robyn’s talk. Two Grazing Girls, Alice and Bec, provided the superb grazing platters. Alice is Jill Reece’s daughter, Robyn’s niece.
